Ideal Candidate
- Graduate of higher education in the energy/electrical field;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in estimating/design;
- English – intermediate level;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet browsing;
- Knowledge of InterSoft or similar estimating software;
- Good knowledge of the field;
- Organized person, highly detail-oriented, with strong analytical and information synthesis skills;
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Main responsabilities
- Analyzes the opportunity to participate in tenders and expresses a point of view within the team;
- Registers requests for quotations and tenders in internal reports;
- Assists in developing the technical solution, considering functionality requirements, budgets, and deadlines for tender participation;
- Details the technical solution together with equipment and system suppliers;
- Prepares technical datasheets for equipment related to own activities;
- Prepares the offer presentation documentation, considering client requirements and internal procedures;
- Collaborates with all departments to include all necessary elements in the offer;
- Requests additional information from the client, if necessary, to clarify aspects related to the offer/solution; participates in site visits to collect field data within competence limits;
- Provides support to the project management department during implementation;
- Prepares cost estimates by item using the InterSoft database;
- Inputs resources (labor, equipment, materials) and adjusts offer prices;
- Verifies compliance with estimating norms;
- Generates updated quantity take-off lists;
- Evaluates indirect costs, overheads, site organization, and profit;
- Provides support to the Project Management department in updating prices according to on-site realities;
- Achieves the role’s established objectives and contributes to team objectives.
