On May 27, 2025, in Bucharest, we at Eximprod Engineering were proud to officially launch Cyber Arena Romania, an advanced cyber defense training center, developed to strengthen the resilience of Romania’s critical infrastructure, public institutions, and private sector companies.
Cyber Arena Romania is the result of a strategic partnership between Eximprod Engineering, Arctic Stream, and CybergymIEC – an Israeli-based global leader in cyber defense training. This initiative represents a major step in supporting Romania’s digital transformation through hands-on education and real-time attack simulation capabilities.
The launch event brought together over 100 guests, including clients, partners, collaborators, and representatives from the three founding organizations. Attendees witnessed live cyber-attack simulations on SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, demonstrating the practical training capabilities of the cyber range environment.

Radu Vasile, CEO of Eximprod Engineering, stated:
“The energy sector and other critical infrastructures are undergoing rapid digitalization, and with that come new and more complex cyber threats. Romania currently lacks hands-on training in OT and SCADA environments. With Cyber Arena, we’re addressing this urgent need. We believe that realistic simulations and active defense strategies are essential to protecting vital systems. We’re proud to be part of this essential initiative.”
Located in Equilibrium Building 2, Bucharest, Cyber Arena features a cyber range lab where organizations can test their resilience, train their teams, and improve their response capabilities. With over 200 training modules, the platform supports a wide range of needs – from basic employee cybersecurity awareness to advanced incident response strategies for IT and OT experts, especially in SCADA and ICS (Industrial Control Systems) environments.
There are also dedicated simulation programs for executive teams, helping management understand, experience, and manage cyber crisis scenarios in real time – essential for strategic preparedness.
Under the motto “Train. Defend. Secure.”, Cyber Arena Romania aims to establish a strong national cybersecurity culture, preparing specialists and organizations to respond to today’s ever-evolving cyber threats.

Ofir Hason, CEO of CybergymIEC, remarked:
“We are opening the 23rd Cyber Arena worldwide — not just a physical space, but a real platform for building cyber resilience. Globally, we no longer ask ‘if’ a cyber attack will happen, but rather ‘how’ we prepare for it.”
Dr. Lior Ben Dor, Ambassador of Israel to Romania, highlighted:
“Cyber Arena is a powerful example of Romanian-Israeli cooperation, bringing Israeli cybersecurity expertise to support Romania’s national infrastructure in an increasingly complex regional environment.”
