Eximprod Awarded at Energy CEO Forum & Awards 2025 for Protecting Critical Infrastructure in the Energy Transition
This evening, at the Energy CEO Forum & Awards 2025 organized by The Diplomat Bucharest, we were honored to receive the award in the category: Protecting Critical Infrastructure for the Energy Transition.
Eximprod is coordinating the European SECUR-EU project, which brings together 14 partners and 2 subcontractors from six European countries. Over its three-year duration (2023–2026), the project is developing open-source solutions to protect the energy networks of SMEs and critical infrastructure operators—thus contributing to the economic and technological resilience of local communities.
In parallel, the company is leading the European INTERSOC project, aimed at strengthening the capacity of Security Operations Centers (SOCs) for smart energy infrastructure, supporting collaboration and early detection of cyber threats. Additionally, Eximprod is involved in another project—Cyberfort—dedicated to helping SMEs adapt to the new European cybersecurity requirements (Cyber Resilience Act).
The newest initiative in the field of critical infrastructure is Cyber Arena Romania, a training center designed to offer advanced, real-life scenario-based courses to help companies combat digital threats.
Through these initiatives, Eximprod demonstrates that innovation in the energy sector can go hand in hand with social responsibility—protecting not only infrastructure but also people, local businesses, and the digital future of Europe.
